PrairieView Press is located in a small, quiet town, close to the Canada-United States border. We have shipping addresses in both Canada and USA.
The owner, Chester Goossen, has been with the business for over 30 years. The business began as primarily a printing company, but over 20 years ago, began publishing songbooks, beginning with some of the books still sold today, Precious Promises in Song and Christian Endeavor Songs series.
When Chester had a young family, his interests turned toward finding good reading material for his family. Thus began our mail order business; first of all reviewing the books for quality content, then offering them in our catalog to homes, schools and bookstores. Today we carry over 1500 titles.
Chester’s son Chad is also quite involved in the business now, and he and his wife are raising their own family of potential readers! 7-year-old Jenna is excited about learning to read, and loves to be read to along with 5-year-old Jesse. Ky is almost three, and can sit still for a few minutes if his favorite book is being read! Baby Lacey joined the family in October '11. Their family, and many of our staff and their families enjoy proofreading new books.
