Overview
Jeri Ferris - Susan LaFlesche’s dream was to help her people, the Omaha Indians, by becoming a doctor. After taking training she returned to her home in Nebraska. Soon Susan was travelling out to her patients in good or bad weather, the only doctor in an area that could use two or three doctors. How long could she hold out?
